Welcome to MEDSI 2025
The 13th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Design of Synchrotron Radiation Equipment and Instrumentation (MEDSI 2025) was held in Lund, Sweden, from 15–19 September 2025, hosted by MAX IV Laboratory.
The conference brought together more than 390 delegates from 25 countries, representing synchrotron, free-electron laser, and neutron source facilities, as well as research institutes and industry partners worldwide.
This edition marked the 25th anniversary of the first MEDSI workshop, highlighting the continued growth of the conference as a leading international forum for engineers and designers in photon science facilities.
The MEDSI 2025 proceedings are now available online and can be accessed here.
